The Storybook Series is based on childhood memories.

Those wonderful moments when you are read to and create images
in your head.

Caroline creates mood boards, colour palettes, texture, marks and compositional ideas before the final painting.

There are around 15 layers of paint on this painting. Starting off with a complete landscape which is taken back, built up, added to, painted over
until she has the effect she wants.
