The 'My Garden Series' is based on natural form but each is a story. A humorous story.

Caroline's motivation was strong colour, excitement and originality..

Caroline creates mood boards, colour palettes, texture, marks and compositional ideas before the final painting.

There are around 15 layers of paint on this painting. Starting off with a complete landscape which is taken back, built up, added to, painted over
until she has the effect she wants.
