Caroline is an eclectic artist. She firmly believes you
should explore paint and form rather than sticking to one type of painting.
She is equally at home painting 'plein air' - although
she makes tonal drawings first - click
AND
creating contemporary paintings - click
Each form require a completely different approach.
The landcapes start from tonal drawings and take
anything from 4 weeks to 12 weeks to complete.
The contemporary paintings start with a word concept
(i.e storyboook - painting like a child) and then Caroline
creates are a series of drawings and mood boards
before embarking on the series of paintings. |
