Autobiography Series - 'If I'

The 'Autobiography Series' is based on a series of drawings that Caroline has created over the years.

Caroline is trying to create mood, texture and expressionism in these paintings.

Caroline creates mood boards, colour palettes, texture, marks and compositional ideas before the final painting.

There are around 15 layers of paint on this painting. Starting off with a complete landscape which is taken back, built up, added to, painted over
until she has the effect she wants.
