The Fimbletop Series is based on flowerbeds.

That burst of fantastic colour of flowers, leaves and bees buzzing round the pollen.

There were 15 paintings in this series - here are some of them.

Caroline creates mood boards, colour palettes, texture, marks and compositional ideas before the final painting.

There are around 15 layers of paint on this painting. Starting off with a complete landscape which is taken back, built up, added to, painted over
until she has the effect she wants.
